Shopping and dinner @ IMM

Was hungry with boyf today when he came to my place. So he used his phone (if you must know, it’s iPhone) to see for places near my hse to dine in.

We searched, and actually wanted to go eat zhibaoji (paper wrap chicken) de, but i complain too far. So we shortlisted 3 places from IMM instead. 2 Jap restaurants, and 1 Western restaurant.

We went to the restaurants to see, Jap restaurants first. I think cos Baby feel like eating Jap today. But after we saw their menu, the food is like, more of sushi and no mains. So we decided on Baystreet 21

The restaurant has a really nice decor, and it also sells Indo food, if I’m not wrong.

We had soup and also bread, with the butter! Bread’s kinda nice to eat too!

Sirloin Steak (boyf)
This is boyf’s steak, with the 2 chicken wings.

Too dangerous for me to eat. Think the next time i go, i shall eat just the chicken chop.

They have 2 choices for dessert, TaoHuey and Fruit (watermelon).
I chose TaoHuey, boyf chose the watermelon.

After dinner, I also bought SilkyGirl Powder (Shine Free).

CNY treats!

Hello! Chinese new year is coming real soon. And what does that make you think of?

For me, I think of FOOD! Being a major foodie, I spend quite an amount of my money on FOOD!

Anyway, what is YOUR favourite CNY treat? I actually like quite a lot. I like eating cashew nut plain, and also the cashew nut cookies!

I finished the sample that was leftover by boyf’s classmates! Hehehe. Yummeh!

Then other than that it’s the famous Pineapple Tart!!!!! This one i swear is super nice it almost gave me an orgasm. x:

The pineapple tarts were soft and totally melt in your mouth those kind! Very nice. And the pineapple filling inside is just nice~ Awesome-st pineapple tarts I’ve ever tasted! Believe me, i’ve tasted enough of them tarts to know…

Why am i telling you this? Cos all these are HOMEMADE by boyf’s AhMa! She wakes up 5am daily to do all of them! They are so yummy!!! I’m getting 2 cashew nuts and 1 pineapple tart (budget mah).

In addition to making pineapple tarts and cashew nut cookies, she also makes Kueh Bangkit (not something i like, but should be nice too!) and also Black Sesame cookie (i totally wiped out this! Got a slightly bitter after taste tho)!

From now till CNY, boyf’s ahma will be able to bake all these for you! HOMEMADE leh! Super nice.

Coraline in 3D

I would have to thank omy.sg as well as UIP for the exclusive blogger movie tickets to watch Coraline in 3D!!!

I’ve always thought my first free movie tickets would be given to me by Nuffnang, but i was invited by omy.sg instead. Thanks a ton!!

The movie screening was held at 20th Oct, at The Cathay. I “booked” boyf to go attend it with me! Went there after school. But i was early, so walked around at Plaza Singapura. The movie starts @ 7.15pm.

So anyway, the people of omy.sg were really nice, by giving out a pair of tickets! I think they know i’ll be lonely watching the movie alone. Hehe.

The movie was awesome, just that the initial portion was seriously draggy much. Till the second half, i was like, gripping boyf’s hand anxiously. Too “into” the movie already.

Animating wise, i think it was an awesome job! It’s using stop motion animation, and it was so so so well done! In 3D was a total plus.

Usually i’d prefer not to watch a movie in 3D, cos the animation was kinda bad. Watching it in 3D makes me dizzy. But this movie did not! Instead, i find the whole show even better in 3D!

See, ain’t they awesome? I find it tough to animate clay but the way this movie shows it, it’s like perfect!

I also like this movie because although it seems a little scary, but it’s the kinda scare that won’t really “haunt” you. So fellow scaredy ladies, go ahead and watch this! :D it’s definitely worth your while.

Overall i’ll rate this movie a 4.5 out of 5!
It’s that good!

So go catch Coraline in cinemas! Even better watching it in 3D!

Random Happenings for these few days

Kinda lazy to update on Hubbly’s last 2 days. Cos those are weekends, and i nothing to do already. ):

Haha. So anyway to say, on Sunday, when Hubbly is back. I did not make it to “jie ji” (someone please tell me how to say this in English?).

I think he was expecting me to be late also luh. xDD Anyway, went to meet him at his place instead, so i reached his place and i’ve got lunch to eat! Happy.

After that we went to catch our movie “Shorts” at CWP.

I like the way that they portray the whole movie. Just like how a “kid” would. Their memories sort of jumbled up, moving from one part to another part.

Also, although the cast of the movie don’t seem to be very strong, i still think they chose their characters “correctly”. The actors all seem the role and made the whole show appropriate.

I like that the storyline is simple and fantasy like. Overall i think i rate this movie a 3.5 out of 5. Nice plot, actors, but i wouldn’t think of watching it a second time.

Today is my off day! Weird right? On a thursday. But well, the school give me this time table, i guess i just have to accept it.

Been tough going to sch 3 days straight, but i did it. And i hope i manage to continue like this… At least till the next holiday! xDD

Hubbly's Day 4

Today is wednesday. Usually (or should i say in the previous semesters) i would have an off day today. But nah-uh. Had Events Management class today.

And my classmate is another Mabel. Why the fuck must my name be so common! !@#$%$#@! Toots man.

Anyway, after school had fyp meeting. We met up with our advisor for the first time. Ben Gay. He is better than my previous advisor. He-who-shall-not-be-named will remain as it is. Lol, act mysterious only.

So anyway, the meeting wrapped up quite quickly, then we moved on to tying up the loose ends, and we played mahjong!

After that there was an announcement, saying the library is closing. So we moved to another location to play.

Played just awhile only. Then left sch around 9.30pm? I think it’s like the latest time i ever stayed in school you know. Maybe more of this is coming soon. LOL.

Nothing’s gonna change my love for you…. I guess?

Day 2 of school already. Branding. Urghh. Some tough shat man!

Anyway, after sch just rushed home. met QY after that and pass her the durian chips i bought for her during my Bangkok trip. Delayed quite long le!

After that i went to Shop n Save to buy the fruit baller. It’s a device that rolls fruits into ball shape. Awesome or what?

Wanted to make dessert, but got lazy after that. Maybe tomorrow i guess. It would be with watermelon de! I’m sure i’ll be taking pictures~

Hubbly's Day 2

What???!!! It’s only day 2. 6 days more to go. *fakes excited tone*

So anywho, let’s talk about me first.

First day of school. Today’s module can’t slack at all pls! ): Busied the whole day learning all the basics.

After school went to meet QY and went IMM. Was sorta lonely so asked QY go over with me. So we went over to Daiso for me to buy stuffs, and Watsons to get my Dove Conditioner, then lastly to Burger King for dinner.

Had The BK Fish. Yums~

Reached home felt tired, but did RJ and everything. Lost touch of doing Quiz though. 0 out of 10. Some more is true/false questions. DIE!!!

Ohwell, imma move on to talking about mushy stuff abt my boyf. So yeah, if interested click the button! If not, check back tomorrow! Gonna add some pictures to my blog!

Hubbly's Day 1

Stalker me just found out hubbly’s plane landed at Phnom Penh already. I guess it’s kinda of a good news? Like, he safely reached there. So yeap.

Now waiting for his message. Wonder how long it’ll take him to message me. Hahaha.

Anyway, he should be getting his luggage and meeting up with his teachers, so go over to the hotel. Hope he’s hotel is good bah.

It’s only the first day! And 7 more days to go. You see, i miss him so much that i can’t sleep! ):

Anyways, i’m feeling hungry and grouchy now, which really isn’t that great a feeling. ): But still not really want to sleep… At least till i get hubbly’s message bah.

And Qiu still haven’t reply me if she wanna go bugis with me! I seriously think that my sudden urge to shop/spend is due to hubbly’s absence. >.<

Been shopping alot since he left! Like, i'm gonna order 2 pairs of contact lens. If they feel good i'll intro them here. And then i wanna buy 1/2 dresses. Preorder so quite cheap one.

See?! I'm dead lah. And i just got my pocket money. If i successfully ordered the contact lens, it will mean that i spent more than half of my pocket money already! ): -faint-

Ohwells, i'm gonna watch shows already. Teehee!
