Singapore City Pass Media Launch

Last week, a bunch of Glitterati+ members and I went over to attend the Singapore City Pass Media Launch.

We all gathered at the SG Flyer early in the morning and received the Singapore City Pass as well as the VIP Tags!

After collecting the stuff we took a ride on…..


The FunVee bus!

It was sunny out there and we were seated on the open area!

Look at all the hair flying around! (My hair’s the brownish-golden one)

We were heading to Underwater World! It’s been awhile since I visited!

Before heading to the Dolphin Suite, we enjoyed a performance with Ukelele!

We were in the Dolphin Suite enjoying the Dolphin show!

After the show, we were introduced to what the Singapore City Pass is all about.

So basically, the Singapore City Pass is a tiny card that makes use of RFID technology. Instead of swiping the card, you tap it on the machines at the entrances of the attractions and also the FunVee bus.

You can select your own attractions, plan the itinerary, and purchase the card online via here.

This card is unlike the regular charged-up card, whereby you top money into the card and use it. The package/line-up which you have purchased will be reflected on the receipt, for you to know what attractions you have left to visit.

This card is useful because you get to plan ahead, enjoy savings from the packages, and in turn visit more attractions! :D

In addition, this card is also a cool souvenir to have!

After the introduction to us, we had some of the food that were prepared for us! It was yummy~

We had some time so some of us had a little photography session. (:

Afterwards, we were told we can get on the bus to get back to SG Flyer, so we left the Dolphin Suite. However, we went off to explore the Underwater world!

We visited many things, but one exhibition makes me wanna go back for MORE!!!


The Jellyfishes!!!! Swear I will go back again! :P

We then rushed back to get onto the last bus heading back to SG Flyer.

It was a really fun event and thanks to Nuffnang and City Tours for the invite!

inSing.com’s new look + SALT Sneak Preview

Did you know inSing has a new look?

From it’s previous phase it has revamped and it’s looking sleek! I totally love websites that are easy to navigate.

I’m here to introduce some “sections” of the website that I definitely will visit often!

Food & Dink

Like other food recommendation websites, this section has featured and also expert contributors.

It’s extremely late now but I feel mysteriously hungry after viewing the articles! I wish they open 24hrs!

If you think you’re bored of all the mainstream food outlets in Singapore, I think this section would add a few “to-go” places to your imaginary list.

Shopping
I’m just like any other girl out there. I enjoy the surge of happiness I get from buying stuff. Temporary happiness counts!

What I like in this section is that this section shows all where the awesome deals are in all of Singapore. For females, it’s all the lingerie and shoes offers! For males, there are electronic gadgets as well as watches offers.

You get to spend but still help your crying pocket with the savings from the offers.

In addition, for us girls who love to stock up on makeup or skincare, there is also warehouse sale notices in this section! I’m sure after surfing through this section your calendar could be mark with a few extra shopping trips!

Movies
I’ve saved the best part last. It’s the movie section! If you’re a movie junkie like me, this part is really helpful!

If you haven’t yet decided on a movie, you can instantly check out the trailers for the movies that are screening but checking out the Movie Trailers at the sidebar. No more googling for the movie trailers as you can do it on the site itself!

After picking out the movie, you can go to the list and click the movie, which will show the various locations and timings having the movie.

You might be thinking why are there 2 colours for the “buy”. The blue ones are basically for GV cinemas. And when you click the blue buy “coupon”, you will receive discount on booking the movie. EVERYDAY! :D

The best thing I like about the revamped section is that by clicking the “coupon”, you will be redirected to the various cinema’s booking system. Convenient or what!

And lastly, thanks to inSing.com and Nuffnang I was able to watch the sneak preview of “Salt”!

I brought my bestie along for this movie as it’s near her internship place!

I shall keep spoilers to myself, but what I like about this movie is the amount of twist this movie has! And all the action and plots is just AWESOME.

A lot people were saying that there will be a part 2 to this movie, but I see it as a completed movie. Maybe because I get the ending.

Comment and let me know if you think there will be a part 2 to this movie and why.

Overall I would give this movie a 4.5/5!

Spoiler:
The reason why I didn’t give it a full mark is because I have no idea why they were showing the part where she was caught in NK.

Unless the point was to show how Salt met her husband.

Nuffnang’s First Bloggers’ Symposium

Haha! I’m really late in blogging but I’ve been busy watching shows lately! Talk about being a couchpotato!

Anyway, the event was really successful and I hope I’ll be able to attend the next one!

I went there alone, and I get to know 3 other people. They are all very nice!

So anyway, I woke up pretty early for this despite sleeping quite late. Then I only managed to reach the place around the starting time of the registration cause I couldn’t find the School of Accountancy.

In the end it was just opposite the place I was alighting initially. ):

After registering I went into the place where there is the banner and people will help you take pictures. After a girl, it was sort of my turn, but I skipped it. x:

The first person from the symposium I know is Angela.

She’s really nice and friendly.

So the symposium started around 1.30pm or so. The whole place was quite filled with people of all ages.
Seriously!

There were kids around as well for the parenting blog. So cute all the kids~

After the introductions of the pictures which we can vote for, a lot of us kinda expect who the winner is already. So we went out for our teabreak and to vote as well.

Angela was kinda bored that only have the two of us, so we went to look for other people in 2s as they are most likely to just know each other at the symposium too. Then we found Lydia and Vivian. Hehe, machiam jackpot.

So after our quick lunch break, we went have to the auditorium for Xiaxue’s “lecture”.

She showed us her way of photoshopping the pictures. And what are her favourite tools to use.
You really won’t notice that difference from her and her online photos until she shows you what she has done to the pictures.


And special appearance by Kenny Sia! He really is a great sport like Xiaxue mentioned.

After her “lecture” ended, they told us we can take photos with XX! So happy. It’s like a very rare moment for me. :D

The symposium ended with an intro of an upcoming website which is like a virtual mall. Looking forward to it’s opening!

After the prize giving for the Canon S90 (I soooooo want one!) we all left and walked to The Cathay. Lydia left us there and the rest of us went down to have a little snack.

Angela’s Boyfriend came and they left after. Then me and Vivian walked around and settled at Ben & Jerry’s for ice cream!

I totally enjoyed this event by Nuffnang SG and I’m looking forward to more events by them! :D

Nuffnang Symposium : Prelude

6 steps for a PERFECT date!

Guess wad my cute boyf bought me for Vday? A necklace! I think that’s one of the loveliest items to receive for vday.

As such, I am feeling quite guilty for not getting him anything! x: So here I am, preparing a 6 (because it’s CNY! 六六大顺！) steps for MY perfect date. :D Could be yours too!

My First Kiss!

How many of you actually remember your first kiss? Well, I do. It was when i was 15 (way long ago), and it’s my 1st bf… The relationship lasted only 5months and 5 days though.

I shall reveal my the place of my first kiss. Mind you, it’s seriously not romantic. ): But sweet memory nonetheless.

On the bus! Bus 99 to be exact. x:

It was sweet cos we both were shy and all. I presume that both of us still had our first kiss that time. And we sort of didn’t know how to like, start things off?

So I turned to him and he asked me to shut my eyes. In my heart i was sort of having a feeling of anticipation, and i was getting waves of butterflies in my stomach, waves after waves.

Then i could felt his cheek against my lips. Omg, that’s when my heart was beating like out-of-control fast!

I could feel his head turning… (yes my eyes are still shut). Then erhem. His lips.

Ok, i gotta stop this cheesy stuff. But guess what my impression of his lips felt like? Marshmallows.

Overall it’s sort of a dream come true for me? Cos i managed to have a kiss with someone i love (at that time). It makes me go all melty inside…

Public transport!

This happened quite a number of times to me already.
Me and boyf wants to watch a movie.
We want to book a movie online.
But both of us are out.
Phone booking & AXS gives random seats that are usually not very ideal.

But you see, if i have internet connection on public transports (cabs, buses and trains) i would be able to book our movie in advance, choose a good seat and enjoy our movie! Wouldn’t that be nice? ^^

Lesser problems in a relationship thanks to SingTel! :DD
